Jamie Needs a Work Shirt: the Journey Cloth

The Final episode of the Thomas Mason x JKF Man series is here!
Our hero has finally grown into a man, sort of, and prepares to tackle the notoriously challenging environment that is the corporate office-scape…
With a little help from his Menswear Fairy Godmother aka Simon Crompton and Thomas Mason, he’s ready to do battle with the ne’er-do-well’s and fax machines of the workplace.
And remember buy low, sell high; wearing ties and saving lives!

It felt appropriate to round off this series with a fabric that would suit the day to day wear for the majority of men; the Journey cloth.
A wonderfully versatile cloth for the office environment due to it’s innovative Anti-Crease Formula, I chose a light blue striped version and had a semi spread collar, no pocket number once again made by our good friend, Jakes Ldn.
The resulting shirt is extremely wearable, pairs with almost any suit and tie combination you’d like to throw at it. I chose a subtle mid grey suit from Saman Amel, a navy and white polka dot tie from Drake’s, shoes from Alden, a splash of colour with some wooden purple socks, also from Drake’s and overcoat by Aubin.
Now I can say from experience, as I was running around and shooting all day in this shirt and the cloth maintained it’s crispness throughout. A great option for those travelling straight into meetings.
Enjoy,
Jamie
