Thomas Mason x Dege & Skinner

Thomas Mason is proud to collaborate with Dege & Skinner, one of Savile Row’s most celebrated bespoke tailors and shirtmakers, in honour of their 160th anniversary.

To mark this important milestone, Dege & Skinner has launched a new “House Collection” of shirt cloths, exclusively developed and woven by Thomas Mason. The designs were inspired by our extensive historical archive, which dates back to the 1700s.

Earlier this year, Head Bespoke Shirt Cutter Tom Bradbury and his apprentice Xanthe Godwin visited the Thomas Mason mill and archive in Italy to explore hundreds of years of fabric design history. Among the many treasures they discovered was a ledger dated 1865 — the very same year Dege & Skinner was founded — which provided the creative spark for the new collection.

The resulting House Collection features three exclusive 100/2 colour-woven poplins, crafted from 100% cotton and combining classic blue-on-blue, blue-with-navy, and blue-with-pink stripes. True to Thomas Mason’s reputation, the fabrics offer exceptional handle, colour vibrancy, and durability.

“The extensive Thomas Mason archive was a real treasure trove of inspiration. Examining a ledger from 1865, it struck us how adventurous and colourful the designs were back then.”
— Tom Bradbury

The Dege & Skinner new House Collection cloths are available to order directly from 10 Savile Row and will also be presented during Dege & Skinner’s domestic and international Trunk Shows.
